it's Flaunt your flowers Friday

It has been a wet and wild week around here
 lots of heavy down pours
and hail so the flowers are looking a little worn
but it is so worth it cause the rain
has everything jumping which means more pretty flowers..
Are ya'll ready for the flaunt...

that all my little rooted pieces are going to take over this summer.

the Chase trees are in full bloom

I love the old right along with the newer varieties of lillies

one of the chase trees that I rooted is now full grown

the autumn ferns have been outstanding this spring

chives, blueberries and baby birds are everywhere

I'm loving the Rhythm and blues petunia's the color is so deep.. I need to incorporate so more yellows for some summer color.

  2. Cherry, you never disappoint me with your photographs of your flowers. Last Sept., I went to a plant swap and was given some daylilies and I am looking forward to seeing them bloom(hopefully this summer). What is the name of that beautiful red daylilie where you have the metal butterfly near it? Oh, is that a beauty! Are the Rhythm and Blues petunia a Proven Winner's
product? I love PW plants! Purple is one of my favorite colors, that and pink. The PW supertunia bubble gum pink is another favorite of mine. Talk about "stealing the show" it did exactly that in my flowerbed in 2010. Last year I didn't buy any petunias at all but that Rhythm and blues has caught my eye..will be looking for that one.

  3. Cherry, Your pictures are awesome. I love everyone of them. Is the Chase tree a butterfly bush? I never heard of a chase tree but is looks similiar to the butterfly bush.
I love your Stokesia. I had some when we lived in town but when we moved to the island the deer ate everything. We put in the fence three years ago and I have been trying to establish a flower garden.
    Hugs,
