It's Friday.. sounds magical doesn't it .. it's Friday, Friday, Friday woo hoo it's Friday ....
Today I am joining Miss Claudia @ Dipity Road for Finding Beauty Friday's and Miss Tootsie @ Tootsie Time for Flaunt your flowers Friday
I was surprised to find my Cherokee Rose blooming last night. I had just looked at it a few days ago and it only had a few buds that looked like they may open by the weekend. I guess those high 80's and 90's we had this week helped her along. I love this rose mostly because my daddy rooted and gave it to me but also because it is beautiful and Georgia's state flower. It looks pretty with my white wisteria on the fence.
Yellow Lady Bank Rose
The top picture of the wisteria is on my neighbors side of the fence. I think her side is prettier this year.
White, yellow lady banks and spiraea coming down the driveway on both sides of the fence

Come on along to see what all the other wonderful bloggers have to share today !
I will be sharing more of The Savannah Home and Garden Tour next week so make sure you come back don't want you to miss any of it ..
Have a wonderful and happy Friday!
Hugs ya'll, Cherry

The wisteria is absolutely gorgeous! I loved your Savannah tour. That is one place I've always wanted to go. I wish we had gone while we lived in Alabama because now that we are in Indiana our trips to the south revolve around family visits.
ReplyDeleteYour header photo dazzled the pants off me and then the gorgeous white wisteria sent me into a tail spin. Why do you get all the pretty blooms and I'm left with daffodils? Just kidding. My day is coming....maybe not until July...but it's coming.

That's just gorgeous, Cherry! You have wonderful taste in plants, and to see these combined as you have done is lovely. :) (It doesn't hurt that I adore the Cherokee Rose -- usually see them only in the wild -- and Lady Banks *and* wisteria. Of course I think your taste is excellent. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the rose pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou two enjoy your gardening.
Isn't it nice spring has sprung!
