The Tall Ship Challenge brought some
fabulous boats to Savannah last weekend.
My girlfriend Beth and I
did the tour of the boats and it was a lot of fun.
They gave us a very nice passport style booklet
and as you boarded each vessel your passport was stamped.
Then Monday morning we headed out to
Old Fort Jackson to watch them leave
and I have to say it was an amazing sight to see

DeleteCherry, These tall ships are awesome! There were some in Duluth Harbor in Lake Superior a couple of years ago. I didn't get to see them. But they are supposed to be coming back in 2013 so I hope I get to see them then.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love the tall ships. One was kept at the Erie docks when I was growing up. That was before it was all restored I think.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been quite a sight to see all of these incredible ships, Cherry.
