Sunlit Sunday

Hi everyone hope you are having a wonderful weekend it has been pretty here but a little chilly. I'm sharing pictures that I took Thursday while I was locked in Hunter Army Base. I was the next car in line to get out and they locked all the gates... and they stayed locked for over an hour.. There was horns blowing and lots of impatience folks wondering around.

but not me I parked under the Oaks and started taking pictures

the sun came and went along with a light breeze

and I watched it all from the drivers seat ~ top left shot out the passengers window, top right shot out the windshield and the bottom is out the drivers window.. Thank the lord I had my camera with me or I might have been honking too ..lol I'm joining Miss Karen for Sunlit Sunday at her blog My Little Home and Garden come on and join us..

Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday.
hugs ya'll, Cherry

  1. Aren't I the lucky one that you got stuck in the car! Your pictures are terrific and remind me of my trip to Savannah last March. All of that gorgeous hanging Spanish moss! I fell in love with Savannah. (Didn't mind the fine cooking at Sweet Potatoes Kitchen either!) Thank you so much for linking up with Sunlit Sunday. I hope some other southerners come on up to Canada for Sunday too!

  5. I remember those wonderful trees and that fantastic moss from a long-ago visit to my aunt who still lives near Fort Stewart, Georgia. What a beautiful part of the world you live in!

Time well spent while waiting for the gate to open.
