Sneak peek at what I have been up too

I am working on momma's tables every chance I get and loving how they are coming along

as much as I was loving them here... I'm loving them even more now.. let's just say they don't look like this now.. fingers crossed I can finish them for her this weekend.

I really need my own little paint palace instead of hubby's garage and carport ..
Happy Tuesday ya'll let's make it a great day ...

  7. Beautiful! I'm sure your Mother will love them! Have you ever painted a rural mailbox using tole painting techniques? I can't do any type of decorative painting like that, but I'd like to convert a rural mailbox to use as small garden tool storage so I don't have to walk back and forth from back yard flowerbeds to garage for my gardening tools. Will using rubberstamps work? What type of rubber stamp ink would one use? I guess you would need to spray a sealant on it afterwards? Any other ideas for this project?

    1. Miss Betty I just freehand whatever I am painting on I have not tried stamping so I can't help ya there. I have painted on a few metal and plastic mailboxes and I do use a spray sealant once my paint has had time to dry.. There is lots of pretty stencils out now maybe you can find one to use..I love your idea of using it to hold your garden tools.. hugs, Cherry
