Savannah reminds me a lot of downtown Mobile...a lot of old iron work. I need to ride around and take some pics oneday to share
ReplyDeleteSavannah reminds me of the French Quarters of New Orleans with all the beautiful iron work, Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteBut neither New Orleans nor Mobile can beat the gorgeous squares in downtown Savannah!
ReplyDeleteGot ya!
Looks lovely, elegant, clean and cared for with nice touches of green.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, thank you for the tour.
ReplyDeleteThese pics just create more enthusaism on my upcoming visit to Savannah this summer! I cannot wait~ ;) Thanks ~ ~CC Catherine from "Catherine de th`e Cups"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful town! I like the colours of the buildings.
ReplyDeleteCherry you have a good eye. Great photos. Makes me want to come and see Savannah.
ReplyDeleteWonderful ironwork! They just don't build houses, fences, balconies and gates like they used to!

I agree with everyone, so much like New Orleans and Mobile. While both of those towns are beautiful, I really loved Savannah more. Such a magical garden place. We went there maybe 5 years ago. I posted a picture of a plantation tour we took of us standing by the BIGGEST tree I've ever seen. Such history there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely city; I've never had a chance to visit there. I just love that old southern charm that it seems to have everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI need to visit again ... it's been way too long! Thanks for sharing :)
