Visiting the HGTV Dream House 2013

My girlfriends and I left Savannah on a Friday morning
heading out to see and do everything we could from here
all the way to Isle of Palms in 36 hours...
First stop The Dream House
on the beautiful Kiawah Island, South Carolina..

as you can see the house is 3 levels..
Here is the second level which is the main living area

first thing we saw upon walking in was the living room
with the dining and kitchen off to the right.
The lighting was fabulous windows and doors everywhere.

Powered room..  I liked the lime green strips but the other girls didn't..

a little sitting nook

pantry area

back in the living room

the gate was cool it was above the fire place.
I don't think any of liked the fireplace though

looking from the glass doors back towards the front door

shot from same spot just looking up to the third level

master bedroom I liked the colors used in this room
and I loved the pillow in the chair.

master bath and us

the view from the back deck

and yes a pool on the second level.
hope ya'll enjoyed.. I am going to try to share
the rest of the house tomorrow
have a wonderful day

  1. Oh Cherry, I wish I could have toured with you! But I'm glad you made it and shared your beautiful photo's with us. And of all places for the a photo-op...although it was a beautiful master bath. What was your favorite room?
