It's a beautiful Friday and it's August already

How can it not be a beautiful day when I'm still getting some pretty and tasty tomato's. I think we have eaten more tomato's this summer than ever before..

I don't think I have ever shared my egg crate that I found a few years ago. I love that it is from GA it sits on the walkway out back so I can see it coming and going everyday.

Two of my favorite watering cans sit's on it with some rusty roses that I picked up at a craft show

pretty, pretty...
the yellow/ red ones on the right are called Hillbilly

see more pretty, pretty

here is the different variety's that I tried this year all of them did great but the Hillbilly did fabulous and is still going strong
I love all the different colors, sizes, shapes and flavors.
Each one has it's own unique flavor.

and I love my can's, pales and rust..

and I loved getting to spend a day with this gang at the beach.  We had so much fun..
I am trying to embrace August but dang it
I wasn't through with July yet.
Have a beautiful Friday everyone and a fun weekend
Sending hugs and love from me to you , Cherry

  2. Beautiful tomatos. Looks like lots of pesto perhaps in your future or just canning them. I had lots this year too but gave them all away. I can't eat the seeds but the ones I did pull seeds out of tasted so good and was excellent on that ole favorite "BLT". Love your rusty cans. Hope you have a nice weekend.

  3. Those tomatoes look so good! All I have are a few Jelly Bean Cherry tomatoes. But they are tasty.
    I love your watering cans.
    Fun pictures of the kids.
    Have a great weekend.

  4. Your 'maters look great. Ours are not doing so good. Okra is doing ok though. I usually hate August and September. Always the hottest months of the years. Even the plants in the garden stores look alittle haggard. Have a great weekend and keep cool! Hugs. Carol

  5. I'll take a tomato sandwich please! :)

I am now following you on Pinterest.

I also wanted to invite you to my blog. I just began a new linky party entitled “Friday’s Favorite Pin” where you link up your favorite pin of the week. And yes, it can be your own creation.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  6. So many wonderful tomatoes, Cherry! I'm going to have to have a chat with my plants and see what their delay is all about.

  7. I love all your watering cans! We are getting lots of tomatoes too but have found that the squirrels and birds are enjoying them too! My kiddos are back to school on Monday. Where did the summer go? It is too hot not to be in the pool or at the beach. Have a great weekend!

  11. Lordy, Lordy! Bob would love those with a BLT. Alas, we are still eating mush at our house.
Your tomatoes look wonderfully delicious. I am really loving all those watering cans and the egg crate is the greatest. You are right, so neat it is from GA.

  12. What a lovely blog! Yes, tomatoes abundant at this time of year, but no one complains...how can we when home grown tomatoes are a privilege and without comparison.

  14. Well I was trying to decide which was prettier ... the old watering cans or the beautiful tomatoes. Then I saw the kids and they take the cake!
