Painting flowers instead of playing in the flowers

Rain, rain, rain yes I'm complaining

I hate to complain but enough already ..
  I have cleaned this house from top to bottom and cooked some fabulous meals all while waiting on the rain to go away..  The flowerbed are now weed beds
and the grass is knee high...

Since I can't enjoy the outside I decided to spend this rainy day working on a few project that I have wanted to do for awhile. Like making a 7' sign for our kitchen

here's a little bitty sneak peek

and if all goes well I hope to have it hanging by the weekend.
I'm giving away rainy days left me know where to send yours cause we have had enough..

    You are so incredibly talented! I can't wait to see that hanging. I love sunflowers! You can send some rain this way. We've had a lot of rain for August but need more...still in drought conditions. xo
