Downtown Savannah is so gorgeous right now
My biggest dose of sunshine this week was provide by
the beautiful Miss Joey
the "HO-HUM HOUSEWIFE" of The Village Voice
believe me she is anything but "HO-HUM"
She is warm and loving, gives big hugs
and lots of encouragement.
She and her husband are doing a whirlwind trip from Michigan to Florida then home again
with as many stops as they can in between. I was so honored that we got to spend some time together.
I have been following Miss Joey's blog for years.
Her photography is amazing her recipes yummy but best of all her comments to me have always shown her humor and love..
She is as beautiful on the inside as the out with a hunky hubby to boot.
hugs to you both and thank you for bringing your warm sunshine to my Savannah and for all the giggles... Beth and I loved every moment of it.

ReplyDeleteoh, thanks so much for these pictures! They remind me so much of home on the Mississippi Coast in Moss Point! The moss dripping from the oaks and all the azaleas blooming! Makes me homesick! Texas has BEAUTIFUL wildflowers but I haven't seen much moss or azaleas! Always enjoy the blog! Carol

ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this, 'sweet' Cherry! Thank you for the kind words. It certainly was a joy meeting you and Beth ... stlll makes me smile! And I so fell in love with your beautiful Savannah ... I shall return since hunky Mr. Ho-Hum (who too so enjoyed you two beautiful/charming 'southern belles') dragged me reluctantly away ... if I hadn't been on my way for a promised visit to my sister in Florida, I might still be there! Thank you again for the effort to meet and advise. It was truly a memorable visit. (I just posted about the trip ... a bit behind in my life since the return but catchin' up, slowly ... :) BIG HUGS dear friend!
