A week's worth of sunshine and the Great backyard bird count

isn't this picture fabulous it is part of the wonderful group of pictures that was submitted last year during the Great backyard bird count which is happening again this coming weekend. You can see all of the past entries here .. GBBC Gallery's there are lots of amazing shots...The entire website is filled with great information if you are interested in bird watching , feeding, or doing the count you will love this site GBBC .. Our local event is being held at Fort Pulaski National Monument which has great trails, lots of trees, brush and is surrounded by salt water. The weather here has been beautiful sunshiny days all week and the weekend is going to be just as pretty it is going to be perfect for the bird count! I hope each of you will take at least 15 minutes this weekend to do the count in your own backyard or with your community and enter your findings into the Great backyard bird count .

It will not only help
scientist to document the complex distribution and movements of many species in a short period of time it will do wonders for your piece of mind... by just being quite and enjoying the beauty around you .. Relax, enjoy and share those great pictures..

Have an awesome day everyone
