I saw these words on Pinterest this morning and just
knew I needed to add my sunflower to it..
After all this rain we have had I am soaking up
every ray of sunshine I can get..
I know I have been absent a lot for the past few months,
fingers crossed all that is about to change.
so hang in here with me if you can.
big hugs, Cherry
Good Morning Cherry, I took your advice and took my mum out for a walk in the sunshine today and we both enjoyed it so very much. Mum is staying with me for two weeks so fingers crossed the English weather behaves itself and treats us to lots of sunshine.

ReplyDeleteLove ya girl, glad to see you. I do hope we keep some sun for a while. Tell me, can hydrangeas get too much water. We have been surrounded by a moat here. My Nikko, Endless Summer and Limelights have terribly drooping leaves. More so than when we have a drought. I checked the soil, it is moist but not soggy?
ReplyDeleteDid you get my email about Subway. Be sure to go by there on Thursday!

Cherry, Thanks for this posting on my birthday! That saying and picture of sunflower would go beautifully in my newly painted sunroom! I'm looking for the right picture to hang on the wall with the most space, where there are not windows. Was thinking about finding a print that has some tropical flowers in it but when I see pictures of sunflowers, it brightens my day! Never grown them but have been tempted. Need to find one that doesn't grow so tall. I know there are varieties out there, it's just finding the time to search. Hey, we could use some of your rain up here in Md.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday hope it was fantastic... if you would like the picture I would be happy to send you. hugs, Cherry
