Mr & Mrs Painted Bunting came for a visit for this years Bird Count



I did not get a picture of her but he hung around for about 15 minutes. Sorry about the pictures I was shooting through a tinted window .. I have never seen a Painted Bunting this early in the year. They were a welcomed surprise.. The sun is still shining here it was a perfect weekend for bird watching. I have been cleaning out flowerbeds which is early for me. I normally would wait till after St Patrick's day hope I'm not screwing up ..

  3. You had a lot of birds in your bird count. The Painted Bunting is so beautiful. So many colors on one bird.
    I haven't been around for a while. I did not realize your Dad had passes away Cherry. I am so sorry.
