Jane Coslick Cottage Tour ~ Cottage 7

Want to see something pretty..
let's go visit Coral cottage on this Sunny Saturday
~ lots of pictures ahead ~

Coral cottage was built in 1958 and has just
been renovated and it is so yummy ...
... are ya ready ...

turquoise, lime, and coral what's not to love

to the right of the front door stepping into the living room

that striped pillow is the exact colors of a Tybee sunset..

across the living room... loved the hanging lamps
do you see the driftwood crab.. cute!

love the artwork and the pop of turquoise on the mirror

 that spread was awesome...
as was this shower curtain.. just loved the color and pattern

I'm thinking this would make the perfect spot
to curl up with a good book.
The spreads are really pretty they have a shell motif
and how about the little striped table between the beds

how about the color on that chest and the panel doors

from the living room heading towards the backyard
there is another living area.. You can see through the windows
on the right into the front living room

isn't this the perfect dining area..
it is so sunny, bright and cheery

crushing on the chairs and drapes

Ta da da ... another awesome chest..
and to the right through the door is the kitchen
now I have to say the kitchen was not very wide
and it was full of people so I did not get a lot of pictures

but I got enough to show you how awesome it is

how cute is the little bottle chanty..
I'm thinking I need one of these in my bedroom
a few shells, candles..
I bet I have the stuff around this house to make something similar..

Ahhhhhh, Ohhhhhh, Yeahhhhh...
I know it is fabulous isn't it ..
it is original to the home..
It has been completely refurbished
including that beautiful new paint ..

back yard

and my most favorite outside shower ever... Ahhhhh...
Now that's what I call " Tybee Chic "

More " Tybee Chic " ... coming next week
  so come on back .

  3. I love your cottages on Tybee Is. The colors are fun and wonderful!! Thilled that they are saving so many of the cottages. My X is from Savannah, so I've spent a lot of time there between 1979 to 1998. My X's parents lived on Whitmarsh Is. on the road to the yaght club. There was a seafood place on Wilmington Is. - across from the golf course on the creek/river that had the BEST crabs. You ate on wooden spools for tables. I can't remember the name - is it still there? Or a great local seafood place? I'm taking my husband who has never been to Savannah for spring break!!

  7. Hey Freda I'm so glad to see you here..

Lona that stove would make me want to cook every night..

Every time I look at the pictures I'm dreaming... One day, a little beach house for Cherry..

Palmers is right Suzan it " was" the best. They have been closed for years now ..
There is so many great restaurants in Savannah if you are heading to Tybee there is Stingrays, AJ's and there is a new place as you just get on to the island called Coco's a couple of us girls went a few weeks ago and loved it they have an upstairs deck you can see The Cockspur lighthouse and shrimp boats coming in and out.. We had deep fried strawberries that were divine ...lol

Our favorite place is Loves Catfish house for fried seafood and their crab stuffed flounder is perfect. They are located between Savannah and Richmond hill on coastal highway 17 right on the Ogeechee river. We were there Tuesday night it was yummy.. It has been there forever so you may know of it.
Pearl's Saltwater Grille out in Sandfly has great food and an awesome view it sits right on the the marsh...
OK I've made myself hungry and we had Low country boil for supper..

  8. What does Jane do, go around and buy up the beach cottages and renovate, decorate them and rent them out or sell them? Or somebody else buys them and has her to decorate them? She surely is not afraid of color and all of the cottages are always so cheery that she decorates. She has a good eye for color!
